Adam Lambert Admits AMA Performance Was ‘Little Too Far’

Despite Adam Lambert initially writing off his racy American Music Awards performance as “envelope-pushing showmanship,” he now appears to be thinking that it was possibly more for his entertainment than for anyone else’s.

When sitting down in an interview with Ellen on the “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” which airs today, Adam admitted that his performance was maybe a little too far. He went on to say that he never intended to disrespect anyone at all.

Adam then went on to say, “OK, maybe that wasn’t the best first impression to make again, the first second impression.” But he did go on to admit that he had fun up on the stage, and says that the band and the dancers all had fun up there as well.
