Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s Family Gather for her Broadway Debut

Monday night, was when actress Ashlee Simpson-Wentz made her Broadway debut, beginning her 10-week stint as Roxie Hart in the popular musical “Chicago.” And according to people.com, her parents, her sister Jessica and husband Pete Wentz, were all attending.

And it appears that big sister Jessica, couldn’t have been happier. She even took to Twitter after the show, to say “Roxie was all Heart.” “Watching her up on that grandiose stage made me the proudest sister in the world. I love ya honey, I love ya!. Grrrrrr.”

Ashlee’s mom Tina said that doing Broadway had always been a dream of Ashlee’s, ever since she was little. She then went on to say that Ashlee, who has played Roxie before during a run of the musical in London, England, had been dancing since the age of three.
