Disney & Marvel: Merge Date Confirmed

Marvel has officially announced the date that they hope their multi-million superhero company will merge with all time favourite cartoon character company, Walt Disney.

Disney, who boast such stars as Mickey Mouse are ready to join up with Marvel, with the stockholders coming together on December 31 to vote on the $4billion (£2.5 billion) deal.

This means that Marvel will then be under the badge and guidance of Disney, who will receive all rights to the Marvel catalogue including Spider Man, Iron Man, and the X-Men.

If the vote passes, Marvel will go into the new year as part of Disney, and the two companies have expressed confidence that the merger will go ahead.
