I want to play Simon Cowell: Will Ferrell

Will Ferrell the Hollywood actor, wants to play Simon Cowell in a biopic of the music mogul’s life. Ferrell admits he’s become addicted with the American Idol judge, Ferrell is hoping to find a script that will allow him to bring his Mr. Nasty impersonation to the big screen.

Ferell said “I would love to play Simon Cowell in a movie, heck, I would love it. It would be my dream role. He’s become a legend in five years, nobody knew who he was five years ago and now he’s one of the most famous people on TV.” Ferrell can see similarities between the TV star and his character from 2004 comedy Anchorman.

The comedian has issued an appeal to the talent show judge to consider him if there is ever a Simon Cowell film in the works: Ferell said “Come on, Simon. You know it would be fun. I could spend some time shadowing you. We could spend time in your mansion in high trousers and black, round-neck tees just being rude to people, it would be great.”
