True Blood Season 3: New Characters Added

We may well have to wait a few months until “True Blood” returns to our screens, but by the looks of things it is definitely going to be worth the wait. When the show returns with season 3 next year, there is going to be a few new characters joining.

According to buddytv.com, up-and-coming actor Theo Alexander, who has appeared in other shows such as “Pushing Daisies” and “Chuck,” has been added to the cast. He will be playing the role of Talbot, who is an “intensely beautiful” vampire.

Marshall Allman has also been added to the season 3 cast. He will be playing Tommy Mickens, who is said to be Sam Merlotte’s long-lost younger brother. Shannon Lucio and Grant Bowler are the other new characters, who will be joining the cast in season 3.

You may know Shannon Lucio, as Lindsay Gardner on “The O.C.,” as Trishanne on “Prison Break,” or most recently as Amanda on “Grey’s Anatomy.” As for Grant Bowler, some of you may know him as Wilhelmina’s man Connor Owens, on “Ugly Betty.”
