Susan Boyle has been penciled in to perform for President Barack Obama and his family at the White House for First Lady Michelle Obama’s 46th birthday on January 17.
The performance from the Britain’s Got Talent superstar, who recently had her debut album ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ shoot to number one, breaking all sorts of records, will perform her signature hit, the title of her album ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ infront of a “small, intimate gathering” at the private quarters, and is set to be part of a double celebration, as on January 20 will mark the first anniversary of the President taking office.
The President and First Lady are said to be big fans of Susan Boyle, and a formal invitation is set to be made to her in the very near future according to a White House insider, who spoke to the Daily Express.

Please tell me it is not true. I love Susan Boyle. But who are we trying to kid. When they say “small intimate gathering” it is obvious the Obamas are just trying to use their station of privilege. The Obamas are not the people’s leaders, they are just out for themselves in this case. There are many small, private things that could be done to celebrate Mrs. Obama’s birthday instead of inviting Susan Boyle for a personal concert. A true president does things in the people’s interest, not just his or his wife’s. Please Susan, do NOT accept!
