Some rather amusing news to give you now, as it has been reported that England’s Wayne Rooney slept through the entire draw for the World Cup 2010 tournament and only found out who England who would be facing, ‘5 hours’ after the draw was completed.
As reported from The Telegraph, Rooney fell asleep in his hotel bed while watching TV and preparing for Manchester United’s weekend game against West Ham united, in which they had an easy 4-0 victory.
He has since stated that the World Cup draw is a good one, with USA being the obvious team to watch out for in the group, as they recently beat Spain in the Confederations Cup. He also says that he doesnt know too much about Algeria, but expects manager Fabio Capello will provide the team with all the information they need to know.
