Many of you will know actor Andrew-Lee Potts as playing Connor Temple in the ITV series “Primeval,” but now you can see him in the new Syfy mini-series “Alice,” which is a modern day retake on the Lewis Caroll fairytale.
Taking a classic children’s fairytale and transforming it into a modern-day romantic saga, appears to have become a bit of a trend among TV channels and Hollywood studios nowadays. And “Alice” is a true example of this.

Syfy’s take on the “Alice in Wonderland” tale modifies the classic to an extent. The director and the writer of the new mini-series, has given viewers an element of surprise, by setting the show’s backdrop to a futuristic world.
Caterina Scorsone plays the role of Alice, who sets out to pursue her kidnapped fiancé and comes across a fantasy world in the process. She then decides to enlist the help of young Hatter, who is played by Andrew-Lee Potts.
