TV Mom Michelle Duggar Hospitalized

Pregnant reality TV star and mom of 18 Michelle Duggar, was said to have been rushed to an Arkansas hospital at the weekend. But it wasn’t her pregnancy with baby number 19, which caused her to dash to the doctors.

A rep from TLC, which is the network that airs Michelle’s reality TV show “18 Kids and Counting,” said that she had been admitted to hospital due to gallbladder problems. The pain had apparently been generating some contractions.

There were some initial fears that the baby was in trouble, but doctors soon discovered it was just the gallstone that was causing Michelle’s discomfort. Michelle is said to be resting comfortably now and the baby is doing fine as well.

According to reports from today.msnbc.msn.com, the doctors want to keep Michelle in hospital for the next couple of days, for observation. The hope now is that any necessary surgery can be delayed, until after she delivers baby No. 19.
