As most of you will be aware already, England will be facing USA in their group in next year’s FIFA World Cup tournament in South Africa. Question is though: Who will win out of the two?
We know this is an early prediction, but we know there are millions of football/soccer fans who are really looking forward to this occasion, especially the USA players – most of which apply their trade in the Barclays Premier League in England.
On paper, most would say England are the odds-on favorite to beat the United States with their vast array of footballing talent from the likes of Gerrard, Rooney and David Beckham, but then again, England are notorious for failing on the big occasion.
The USA team have been known for their battling qualities, with good players such as Donovan, Dempsey, Beasley, McBride and Adu. Don’t forget that they recently beat European Champions Spain in the Confederations Cup, so I have a feeling that this definitely will ‘not’ be a one-sided affair.
