Television journalist Diane Sawyer bid a teary and very emotional farewell to ABC’s “Good Morning America” today, after working on the show for over 10 years. At the top of today’s show, Sawyer said “And for one more time, good morning America.”
According to nydailynews.com, she then warned that it would be a heavy Kleenex day. Co-host Robin Roberts then said that they would be sharing the joys of happiness and appreciation for Diane, who she described as the queen of morning television.

And that is exactly what they did, honoring Sawyer’s over-a-decade run on “Good Morning America,” with highlights ranging from serious interviews with some of the world’s leaders, to a clip of her slipping and falling in the snow with Charles Gibson.
