Shawne Merriman Files Lawsuit Against Tila Tequila

It looks like NFL star Shawne Merriman, has finally got round to filing a lawsuit against his ex-girlfriend and television personality Tila Tequila. According to eonline.com, it has been three months now since their September 6th altercation.

Within the 60-page lawsuit that Merriman has filed against Tila, he is alleging copyright and trademark infringement, federal unfair competition, dilution of famous mark, and common law unfair competition among other things.

Merriman, who plays for the San Diego Chargers, is said to be seeking millions of dollars in damages. He now claims that Tila’s public and frequent insistence that he assaulted, choked and falsely imprisoned her has damaged his image.
