Joe McElderry: Was the Right X Factor Winner Chosen?

The X Factor 2009 winner has now been chosen, Joe McElderry did what he does best and never put a note wrong. Joe was always the bookies favorite, although Olly did give him a good run for his money but it was not enough on the night. Do you think that Joe deserved to win, i know i do.

This years X Factor was the best we have seen for a while, we have never seen such strong contestants, well all except the terrible twins John and Edward. I cannot remember when we have had at least five great singers, there have been reports that Daniel will have the best future and should have been in the final, but i am not too sure on that.

The final song that Joe and Olly had to sing was The Climb, originally by Miley Cyrus, and it was this song that won it for Joe. The song was filled with high notes and showed Olly’s weakness with getting those high notes and keeping them there. When Simon Cowell chose this as the winner’s song, he must have thought that either Joe or Stacey was going to be in the final.

So now we have our 2009 X Factor 2009 winner, so what next for this young lad, if Simon has anything to do with it we can expect great things. On a final note, this is the second year in a row that Cheryl Cole had the winning contestant.

    I think Joe McElderry was the person that was going to win the X-Factor from day one on his journey he has just grown so strong and he is such a talented guy with somuch respect within himself, he belived in all of his dream’s even when sometimes thing’s slipped a little he just rose above them and gained much more strength and even gave a better shot.

    Throughout watching Joe on the X-Factor he is deffinetley somone that has made thousand’s of people realise there dream and they should keep trying and never give up, as this is what joe did everyday tryed his hardist.

    I think joe should had Christmas No1 because he deserves it as he has put his swet and blood and soul into his achievment, I think RATM whatever you call them are just pushing there bounderies and are just to jealouse that joe has an amazing voice and that he is so successfull also they are jealouse of simon cowell.

    I say bring on the future for joe and the best of luck to him he will get far with so much achievement in his carrer.

    Joe McElderry is a good singer but far from outstanding. I think he won because of his good looks (although again I don’t think he is outstanding). He seems a nice guy with a lot of good values missing in teenagers today, but I can’t help feeling there is something about him that seems surreal, his smiles doesn’t seem sincere, but just a show to allure audiences.

    I did not like him to begin with, but he has grown on me maybe because of the hype, but there is something strangely appealing about him.

    Sorry Joe if you read this but I least trust celebrities nor celebrity wannabes.
