The nominees for the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards, which takes place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 17th, have been announced this morning and it definitely looks good for George Clooney’s new movie “Up in the Air,” as it has six nods in total.
According to reports from people.com, Best Actor (George Clooney), Best Drama and Best Director (Jason Reitman), were among the nominations that “Up in the Air” has. In the dramatic movie category, “Up in the Air” is up against “Avatar” among others.

Meryl Streep will compete against herself, as she has been nominated for Best Comedy Actress for both “Julie and Julia” and “It’s Complicated.” Sandra Bullock picked up nominations for leading dramatic role in “The Blind Side, and comedy actress in “The Proposal.”
As for the small screen nominees, “Big Love,” “True Blood,” “Dexter,” “House” and “Mad Men,” are all among the nominations for best drama. While “30 Rock,” “Glee,” “Entourage,” “The Office” and “Modern Family,” are all nominated for the best TV comedy award.
