Dexter Season 5: what’s to come?

i thought that the ending to this season was a very good one as now it has sent him back into his spiral downwards rather than up

I really liked Rita but that was really good , part of me I wish it is just a dream , but part of me I think now it could be more ,then again how could Trinitykill Rita ( he was busy with Dexter ) but then again it’s tv . And I want the sister Debra to get together with the good looking cop Quinn . This is good stuff.

won’t she just be ‘disposed of’ by the unemotional dexter and disappear…

I want Debra to find out, be interesting to see what she would do with the knowledge of who Dexter is being torn between the sister and a cop, would Dexter have to kill her to keep his secret.

i have a feeling rita’s death has something to do with trinity’s kids, son or daughter. i hated her by the way – rita i mean – she was probably the most annoying character i ever got to see on tv… horrible. felt quite relieved when i saw her in the bathtub all bludgened. oh, and it would be great seeing debra and quinn together. she might then tell quinn what she found out about dexter’s ‘birth’ and he’d be after him. although he still will be… probablemente

Rita had to die much like Doakes but for different reasons. Really nothing they could do with her that just wouldn’t have been a repeat, She had to go to stop the series from going stale.

The only death I don’t really agree with is Lila from the second season. She ran away to France and was out of the way no reason to kill her, besides I don’t really know how he tracked her down or disposed of the body in France. That had me scratching my head.

I really hope that the finale was just a dream, just like when Dex was seeing his family being taken away at trinity’s house. I liked Rita.

So, Rita being killed in a textbook Trinity style may raise a few questions about the connection between Arthur and Dexter…
I think Deb’s instincts will have a hard time letting go of this one.

Season 4′s ending was really fantastic! I think in terms of longevity for the programme itself it was a move in the right direction. Season 5 will now kick off with a bang and have a totally different start than all the other seasons. I can just imagine how Dexter will have to juggle, looking after the children, being a suspect for his wife’s murder and the most obvious one, satisfying his “dark passenger.” All in all I think its going to make for some fascinating viewing.

I’m still gonna believe Harry is prolly alive, and he killed Rita

Hey Mickey….In the final episode of seaons 4, remember the bit when the trinity killer picks dexters lock and goes in his house but then it skips to the next bit….well yeh thats obviously when he kills rita…syncs up with her coming home from the airport, hence the sms he gets from her….very clever way to slip something into the plot without actually doing anything…

Did you fall asleep in this episode? He picked the lock, and it ended up being Dexter’s old unit, where Deb now lives. And how would he ‘sync’ coming to their house as she comes home from the airport, he didn’t even know Rita existed as he went to the wrong place to begin with.

The ending so unexpected.I wanted that happy season 3 ending with him and Rita on their honeymoon celebrating the death of arthur Mitchell. Damn Arthur Mitchell. I wanna go n kill him over again. But the new season will be interesting to see how Dexter is going to be a single father of three, and maybe a suspect in Rita’s murder and still fill the void of the dark passenger. Wonder how they’ll up the excitement for season 5.

rita found dead in the bath!!!!!!!! im thinking that the writers are jus making it look like it was trinity but it will b trinity's son which wld tie in everything he has been saying about not being able 2 excape ur past……. or dnt ova look the neighbour nxt door that rita kissed……. either way i cant wait for season 5, its gona b a killer!!! can any one tell me when season 5 will come out??????

Maybe I’m a big softy, but Ritas death hit me hard. Really caught me off-guard. I must say though, it sets the stage the most nail-biting season ever!! I can’t wait!! Personally i dont think it was trinity who killed Rita.. thats way too much and i think he would have mentioned it when Dexter was killing him.
