Sherlock Holmes Cast Join Director Guy Ritchie for UK Premiere

The cast of the new “Sherlock Holmes” movie joined director Guy Ritchie, for the movie’s UK premiere in Leicester Square last night. And according to bbc.co.uk, smog and old-fashioned street lamps were brought in especially for the event.

Robert Downey Jr., who plays the main character of Sherlock Holmes in the movie, was there along with Jude Law, who plays Holmes’ sidekick Dr. Watson. Robert says that the movie has a bit of a comedy side to it, thanks to Guy’s sense of humor.

And there wasn’t a shortage of stars on the red carpet either, at last night’s premiere. Singer Gwen Stefani was in attendance, joined by her husband Gavin Rossdale. Actress Heather Graham, who starred in the movie “The Hangover,” was also there.
