Just a few days ago Olly Murs and Stacey Solomon were fighting against Joe McElderry in front of 12 million fans, to see who would be crowd X Factor champion 2009, now Olly and Stacey performed at a gig in Gatwick airport.
It does seem a bit of a come down from the bright lights of the studio, to a karaoke competition in a snow globe. To be honest the pair performed for a great cause, they were launching The Gatwick Factor, a competition which is in aid of Great Ormond Street hospital.
Happy holiday makers are invited to sing to the hearts content, inside a snow scene in the terminal. Olly and Stacey performed a medley of the series hits. Olly who should have won the show in my opinion said, it was “great to be out and about to meet the fans.” Passengers still have a chance to sing in the globe as it remains at Gatwick until December 23rd.
