The St. Louis Rams were forced to cancel practice on Thursday, after an undisclosed number of swine flu cases within the team were discovered. And it couldn’t come at a worst time, as it’s only three days before a home game against the Houston Texans.
According to washingtontimes.com, Coach Steve Spagnuolo would not say how many of his players had the illness, but did say that five or six of them had shown flu-like symptoms. He also added that other players had reported symptoms in the last few weeks.

Spagnuolo anticipated that the Rams would be returning to practice on Friday, with a workout that would incorporate some of the elements that were missed on Thursday. Team spokesman Ted Crews, said that many players had received medication on Thursday.
