Michael Jackson anniversary concert in UK in doubt

Doubts have surfaced over a tribute to a Michael Jackson concert, that was scheduled to take place in London next year, because the company set to organize the show has dissolved.

The World Awards Media, an Austrian firm, announced their decision to wind-up was made in November. Martin Schneider said the company had lost the financial support of its main sponsor. No more details have been received, and it is not clear whether Jermaine Jackson will put on the gig himself.

The concert was set for June, one year on from when the King of pop died at the age of 50. Former chief promoter Georg Kindel told the Austria Press Agency that he and founder Christian Baha, the majority owner of the company split in October.
