We have some shocking news for you now, as recent reports from eonline.com have revealed that Shane Sparks, who is best known for being a judge on “America’s Best Dance Crew” and a choreographer for “SYTYCD,” has just been arrested and charged with child molestation.
A Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Bruce Borihanh, said that 40-year old Shane, whose legal name is Melvin Sparks, was taken into custody by detectives at around 8 am on Friday, at his North Hollywood home and has been charged with eight counts of felony child molestation.
According to Borihanh, Sparks has been the subject of an ongoing child-molestation investigation. He has now been booked into Van Nuys jail and is apparently being held in lieu of $590,000 bail. The investigation is said to center on a decade-old incident, which involves a teenager.
