Monday Night Football: Giants Beat Redskins 45-12

It was Monday night last night, and that meant that another Monday Night Football game was played. And last night’s game between that New York Giants, and the Washington Redskins was a game in which Redskins coach Jim Zorn, wanted to impress his new boss.

But according to washingtonexaminer.com, both he and his team failed to do so. In what can only be described as the ugliest game of Zorn’s two seasons and one of the worst played by the Redskins in several years, Washington were defeated by the Giants 45-12.

“We got our butt whipped,” redskins receiver Santana Moss said after the game. Monday night’s loss was the Redskins’ worst, since a 52-7 loss at New England 2 years ago. The Giants just took control of the game from the beginning, scoring 17 points on their first 4 possessions.
