Arsenal vs. Aston Villa: Barclays Premier League Results

Arsenal took on the likes of Aston Villa in today’s Barclays Premier League game. And with a little help from Cesc Fabregas and his two goals, Arsenal managed to climb into second place in the Premiere League with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa.

According to reports from goal.com, Fabregas came off the bench to score twice for Arsenal and the game was finished off by a late third goal from Abou Diaby. Arsenal may have been on top form in terms of possession, but Villa appeared to defend well.

When Arsenal began scoring, it was all down to Cesc Fabregas. The Spaniard turned Dunne and got brought down to win a free-kick 25 yards from the goal on the left. He then managed to curl the ball into the top left-hand corner, to take the Gunners to 1-0.
