Pacquiao declared yesterday that he will fight Floyd Mayweather, Jr, not with his fists, but with a defamation lawsuit. The seven-time, seven-weight division boxing champion will file the suit because of allegations that he uses performance-enhancing drugs.
People’s champ Manny Pacquiao has also said that the match against Mayweather, Jr. on March 13, 2010 is “over.” Manny and his corner are said to be angered over Mayweather’s demand that they undergo Olympic-style random drug test. Manny spoke in an interview were he mentioned that he hasn’t ever used steroids and it is “hard work that got him to the top.”
An official statement from Pacquiao camp went on to say “These people Mayweather Sr. Jr. and Golden Boy Promotions think it is a joke and a right to accuse people,” Manny went on to say that he did indeed try to “brush the comments off.” Pacquiao has asked his promoter Bob Arum to help file the case.

I am not pleased! This match up was set to generate an enormous amount of revenue. Not just for the hosting city/venue, but for sports bars around the country. These chumps, I mean champs, really need to get it together and do what they do best. Box! Leave it to the lawyers to do what they do best in court. Keep it clean and not “Dirty” and everybody wins. Be a boss Pacquiao and fight the man with your hands. All this thinking your doing is simply complicating the matter. You are also running for public (political) office and you think that because your opponent accused you of something is a reason to sue? No, no, no. Who are your advisors dude? That is the reason to win! Take the test and quit trippin, so every one around you and those who know what to do, can “Bring it in for 2010!”

If the fight don’t happen there’s no one to blame other than Floyd Sr. It all started when Hatton got knocked out in the 2nd round by Manny. Trainer Floyd Sr got so embarrassed & very disappointed. He also disappointed Hatton’s fans especially the Brits. Floyd Sr didn’t even bother to check if his fighter was OK. Instead he blamed everything on Ricky not following the game plan. But in reality it was Floyd’s ineffective strategy causing Ricky’s knocked out in the 2nd round. During the camp, Floyd Sr have said so much bad stuff about Freddie. He continuously run his mouth throughout the course of training. He even insulted Freddie Roach on numerous occassions. Boxing fans knows Freddie by far a superior trainer. Freddie is a genius as far as boxing. He studies the opponents moves & habits & trains his fighter based on it both physical & mental. I myself was surprised that Ricky knocked out in the 2nd round. To me Ricky have always been a very good, tough fighter. He fought well on all his fights until Floyd Sr came.
Until now Floyd still in denial of Hatton’s defeat & his ways retaliate to accuse Manny of using PED. He blamed Ricky for not following his instructions where in fact there’s no one to blame other than himself. Floyd Sr looking for ways to escape the embarrassment he brought in the sports of Boxing.
I’m one of the guys who is no longer interested in this megafight between Mayweather and Pacquiao. We know that Pacquiao will win anyway … He should just sue them for a crazy amount of money … say $200M
