Van Morrison: Legendary Singer Becomes a Dad Again at 64

Legendary Belfast-born singer/songwriter Van Morrison has just become a father again, at the age of 64. According to news.bbc.co.uk, Morrison posted a statement on his website, announcing that his wife Gigi Lee had given birth to their son on Monday.

The statement describes the newest Morrison, George Ivan Morrison III, as the “spitting image of his daddy.” In the statement, Morrison also mentions that his son is in fact a dual citizen of Northern Ireland/United Kingdom and the United States.

A spokesman for Morrison said that the couple want to keep the birth location private. Van Morrison, whose 45-year career includes music such as soul, blues, country, jazz and R&B, already has a 39-year old daughter from his first marriage.
