According to recent reports from sports.espn.go.com, the St. Louis Blues have decided to fire their coach Andy Murray early on Saturday morning, after the NHL team has struggled to a 17-17-6 start this season.
The Blues have now named Davis Payne coach in the interim. Team president John Davidson prepared a statement about the decision, saying that Davis is very knowledgeable of the players in the organization.

Davidson went on to thank Andy Murray, who joined the St. Louis Blues in 2006-2007 after six years of coaching the Los Angeles Kings, for the job he’s done for the past four seasons, and wished him all the luck for the future.
