Recent reports over at sportingnews.com say that the Washington Redskins fired their coach Jim Zorn at around 2:15 am on Monday morning, shortly after he arrived back from the team’s trip to San Diego.
The firing of Zorn was expected for some time though, as he was stripped of his play-calling duties back in October. The Redskins lost their final game of the season 23-20 against the San Diego Chargers at the weekend.

They now finish their season at 4-12 and Jim Zorn is 12-20 in the two seasons that he has worked as the Redskins’ coach. An announcement regarding a replacement for Zorn, could well come as early as Monday.
