Tiger Woods: ‘Raw’ Pre-Scandal Shots on Vanity Fair Cover

Troubled golfer Tiger Woods may be keeping himself hidden from the cameras as of late, but readers of Vanity Fair magazine will soon be able to get an eyeful of the golfing legend, when he appears in the February issue.

According to people.com, the cover shot shows a bare-chested Tiger Woods, in a black cap and lifting weights. The magazine is also promising more photos of a “raw and unguarded” Woods, taken by photographer Annie Leibovitz.

The images were in fact taken before Tiger’s affair scandal hit the headlines. Annie said that Tiger is an intensely competitive athlete, who is quite serious about his sport. And that is what she wanted to show in the photos that feature.

You will be able to see the photos and read the accompanying article, when the issue hits newsstands in New York and L.A. on Wednesday, and when it hits newsstands nationwide on Tuesday of next week.
