Jeff Hardy signs for TNA: WWE career over for good?

Well, a lot of you had predicted that this would happen following his exit from WWE, but now it has officially been confirmed. Jeff Hardy made an appearance on the special live 3-hour edition of TNA iMPACT, with all signs pointing to Hardy becoming the newest addition to the TNA roster.

As reported from iFight365, Hardy entered the area via the crowd at the end of the Steel Cage Asylum match, prompting the TNA audience to go wild.

Homicide got involved with the extreme star, who then felt the effects of a steel chair, followed by a twist of fate on the mat outside the cage.

On a night where Bret Hart’s return on WWE RAW took center stage, could Hardy’s appearance on TNA steal all the headlines tomorrow?

Fantastic addition to the TNA roster. This will play a big part in gaining majority viewers over to the TNA side, but thats a given. I ‘am praying that TNA will have the higher ratings, or atleast get close to the competition, with the WWE, thus resulting in the possible idea of adding another weekly show (live) on monday nights and bring back the beloved Monday Night Wars! If this happens we will see more and more additions of great talent and better story lines, and we the fans have not seen good wrestling in 10 years because, the WWE has not had to worry about competition. TNA we will bring everything they’ve got and they will get more extreme causing the WWE to go along with the escalation and bring back the attitude in wrestling!

  2. Mike D says:

Hell Yeah!!!! TNA is the real thing, forget about WWE!

Careful what you post here. You also posted that, ahem, if I may post the title, “RVD to appear for TNA on January 4th”. Yeah.. didn’t exactly happen. So.. what I am getting at is I am saying Jeff Hardy did NOT sign with TNA, and have as much of a chance of being correct. However I will admit that your source was F4WOnline.com, however Kevin Eck of the Baltimore Sun and ProWrestling.net, two sites that I visit religiously did not post that report.

So I will end by saying, Jeff Hardy may or may not have signed with TNA Impact.

Of course that said, there’s not much chance he’ll hit Homicide with a steel chair and be done, so likely he has signed with TNA.

  4. T Fox says:

I think this is a good move for TNA because now they are showing that they can beat WWE in the ratings like WCW did.

  5. Gillian says:

Jeff’s appearance could just be a one off, as wwe still want him back to feud with CM Punk at Maina.

  6. nikki says:

okay so im a huged wwe fan an i never really watched tna never gave it the time of day seeing jeff oh i will be checking out tna now an jeff hardy is one of the best man wrestlers ive ever sseen from his hardy shows to what he puts in the rings i love jeff hardy an in my eyes he should be on wwe with matt thts just where he belongs im sorry but i hope he doesnt last with tna to long :/ this man should be on wwe an tht in my eyes will never change….

  7. HELL NO, Why would Jeff leave WWE, that’s where he became the enigma, the high flyer, the risk taker. WWE made him into what he is today. ESPECIALLY the fans including me,
the WWE LOVED Jeff Hardy. He was like family to the WWE.
And what did he do, He turned his back on the WWE, he walked out on them. Walked out on us, THE WWE UNIVERSE.
Jeff ment the world, he was a motivator the the WWE fans.
    Why would he leave?!?

He has turned his back on us. Not just that, but TNA is NOTHING compared to WWE. TNA is down at Level 1, & WWE is WAY UP AT LEVEL 10. Why would he go to a company he’s to good for, he’s just a Big Fish in a Small Pond. He belongs with WWE with guys like Triple H, Shawn Michaels,
John Cena, & The Undertaker. Where all the big names are.
That’s why he shouldn’t have left WWE & should go back while he has the chance.

  8. You know what, can you just ignore the whole thing on betraying WWE, I just realized he might go back, so can you ignore that. Cause he didn’t turn his back on WWE. So
just ignore that paragraph. Thank You

  9. TriqueTrigger says:

Considering his career, especially playing his own part with his brother in the original Monday Night Wars, what did you expect? Ten years in WWE before he could even get a World Title shot? And the story lines towards the end of his time in WWE?

If you’re going to have a career, you might as well enjoy what you do. Maybe he was tired of the company, not the fans. If you were really a fan of his, you’d wish him well in whatever endeavor he decided to take part in.

  10. Kaitlyn Huyck says:

I think it’s great that he’s still fighting, but it’s kind of upsetting that I won’t be able to see him, because I can’t find TNA anywhere on my satellite. My little brother will be happy to know that he is, however, still fighting. Jeff Hardy is his idol…

  11. Louis Callahan says:

Ok, first and formost, Jeff Nero Hardy is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. I have been watching him since he appeared in 1993. I have prayed for this man when he was injured and even when he had his major problems in his life with bad choices and even disasters in his life. I dont care where he wrestles or who his opponent is. As long as he is doing what he does best, entertaining a crowd of people that love or hate him. So Jeff is u are reading this, dont stop doing what u love. I know u love ur death defying moments so keep making them till ur hearts content. Your #1 fan…

  12. cmpunkster says:

jeff sucks anyways matt should be where jeff was in the wwe.

  13. JB says:

For Those of you who have said he hasnt signed check out Jeff Hardy’s Wikipedia which actually comfirms he has signed a short term contract with TNA :]

I wish TNA all the best, real wrestling should win this war :]

  14. BILL says:

Jeff Hardy Is Who I Look Up To And I Dont Care What Wrestling He Signs With The Wwe Or Tna Cause I Watched Them Both But I Bet U Money That He Will Return To The Wwe One Day And Beat Faqqet Ass Cm Punk Its All A Matter Of Time I Think Jeff Going Do What He Did Before When He Got Fired Go To Tna For A Lil While Then Go Back To The Wwe And Beat Cm Punk Ass Then Go After Who Ever Steps In His Way And Whoever Got The Wwe Championship.

  15. Adam says:

OK for all of you who think Jeff has signed with TNA then answer me this one single question, WHY IS JEFF”S PROFILE NOT ON TNA’S ROSTER!?! The people in TNA are saying that he HAS signed a contract with TNA, but his close friends are saying that he DID NOT. Hell even Shanon Moor who went with Jeff to the Impact taping isn’t on the roster… So if Jeff and Shanon went to TNA, where are they’re profiles?

  16. Loveround says:

Jeff Hardy is NOT going to sign with TNA iMPACT! On 04/01/2010 Jeff Hardy made an apparence in TNA, but he will not compete in TNA. On TNA Official Website, Jeff Hardy is only in a photo, attacking Homicide and that only page where “Jeff Hardy appears”. TNA officials publish new talents on “TNA Roster Page” before they debut in-ring. Guys like: Brian Kendrick (was put on website before debut), Mr. Anderson (Mr.Kennedy) (like Brian) and Orlando Jordan.
The only thing you cand ask, is that Kurt Angle may return to TNA. He was saying that he will leave TNA and go back to TNA during TNA iMPACT! 21/01/2010 when he was screwed up (remembering The Montreal Screwjob) and he splited in Hulk Hogan’s face. He is in TNA 28/01/2010 becouse he is still under contract with TNA.

  17. L says:

Totally agree with BILL, ive been a fan of jeff since I was a kid, and wherever he goes, I support him. Also, he probrably left because the WWE is just getting ridiculous these days, it’s become a soap opera instead of pro wrestling, I actually stopped watching WWE 3 years ago, but I started to watch again only because I found out Jeff returned, after he quit I stopped watching again lol.

  18. Enigma says:

I wanna say that my son is a huge Jeff Hardy fan, ..though not a big Hardy fan myself, ..i have been amazed by some of his crazy ring tricks and his high flying..
I never saw JF as a champion of any type, much like Edge and Christian, ..solid pros but in no way champs…
This last incident with Jeff and the arrest is the end for my support of him in any way, ..how can i tell my 7 year old son his favorite wrestler not only abuses drugs, but sells them…I hope he’s found innocent, but until then the support for this guy stops at this house..

  19. Bill says:

Jeff Hardy Is The Best And Is Going To Sign With TNA

  20. man dis bullcrap, i mean jeff hardy is one of the most popular of wrestler of all time, and he going to tna, tna suck already just because they got hulk hogan ric flair and a lil bit more, tna already trying to be like wwe, hope jeff hardy come back to wwe,ima watch tna only when jeff hardy fights

  21. rachel says:

  22. Arshad Fearless says:
