Floyd Mayweather Jr. Involved in Confrontation with Rapper

It looks like Floyd Mayweather Jr. was all prepared for a standoff with a rap star this weekend just gone, until Diddy stepped in to save the day. According to tmz.com, it all happened at the opening of Vanity Nightclub, in the Hard Rock Hotel, which Diddy was hosting.

Reports say that Mayweather Jr. had gone over to the party to see Diddy, when he quite literally ran into rapper Rick Ross. Sources say that one man bumped into the other, and their entourages immediately became quite confrontational with each other.

But just as things began to heat up a bit, reports say that Diddy stepped in and calmed everyone down. Reports also say that both Mayweather Jr. and Rick Ross eventually went back into the club, where they partied the night away without any more hassle.
