The New York Jets faced up against the like of the Cincinnati Bengals yesterday, in their NFL Playoff game. And thanks to rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez and his mistake-free performance on the field, the Jets took a 24-14 victory over the Bengals.
And according to americanchronicle.com, it was the Jets first NFL Playoff victory since 2004. Sanchez managed to go 12 of 15 for 182 yards, threw a touchdown pass on a rollout play and became the 4th rookie quarterback since 1950, to start and win in a playoff game.

Running back Shonn Greene also played his part for the New York Jets, by running for 135 yards, which included a 39-yard touchdown. By halftime the Jets had managed to pull ahead by 14-7, with two big plays coming off Sanchez’s hand.
