Derek Jeter and Actress Minka Kelly to Get Married

Well, it looks like New York Yankees star Derek Jeter has finally ended a long and happy bachelorhood, by getting engaged to his girlfriend Minka Kelly, who is one of the stars of the “Friday Night Lights” series.

According to a report at postchronicle.com, the pair has been rumored to have been dating since around May of 2008, although they weren’t actually spotted out publicly together until sometime in October of that year.

The wedding is reportedly set for November 5th. 29-year old Kelly joins, and now tops, an illustrious list of brunette stars that 35-year old Derek has dated, which includes Jessica Alba, Mariah Carey and Vanessa Minnillo.
