Spiderman 4 Movie: Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire quit

Some shocking news to report to you now, as it has been apparently confirmed that Spiderman star Tobey Maguire, along with Director of the franchise Sam Raimi have both quit production on Spiderman 4.

According to this report from MTV, Raimi and Maguire are both said to be unhappy over some issues with the Spiderman 4 script, along with which villains should appear in the next film, prompting Sony to announce both of their departures.

Instead, the fourth Spidey film might go down the prequel route, exploring Peter Parker’s days at high school.
