There have several reports surfacing on the Internet recently, that have suggested that Norm Chow has joined USC as the team’s offensive coordinator. But according to conquestchronicles.com, that is not exactly true as he is still employed by UCLA.
But we don’t exactly know for how much longer, that he will be employed as UCLA’s offensive coordinator. According to a report at Los Angeles Times, Norm Chow and USC are currently in talks, about Chow joining Kiffin’s staff but it’s not a done deal yet.

USC desperately wants Chow to join their staff, and they are prepared to throw piles of money at him. And Chow definitely wants a hefty salary (NFL-type money to be precise), similar to what he received from the Tennessee Titans a few years back.
So now, it just boils down to whether USC are actually prepared to go that high. The salary he gets at UCLA isn’t too bad. Fair enough he makes $690,000, but if he stays in Westwood, he will receive a $250,000 retention bonus come April 1st.
