With every season of “American Idol,” you are guaranteed to get the auditions that have you or the judges crying with laughter and season 9, is no exception. It was the Atlanta auditions last night, and there was one contestant that definitely stood out.
If you watched last night’s show, then you may just know who I’m going on about – General Larry Platt, who decided to sing a song called “Pants on the Ground.” And according to gather.com, his “Pants on the Ground” audition video is now doing its rounds on YouTube.

When Platt started singing his song, the judges were just watching his performance in amusement. But that amusement soon turned to fits of laughter from Kara and guest judge Mary J Blige. And even when Simon Cowell told Larry to stop, he continued.
You have to take your hat off to this guy though, for the pure fact of him having the guts to go on such a show and perform a song that is called “Pants on the Ground.” If you didn’t get to watch it last night, then we have the video below to watch for yourself.
