Actor Michael C. Hall, who is the star of Showtime’s hit TV series “Dexter,” has recently released a statement, in which he reveals that he has been fighting cancer. According to latimes.com, Michael was suffering from Hodgkin’s lymphoma, but it’s now in remission.
Hodgkin’s lymphoma, is one of the most curable types of cancer, and is most likely to be diagnosed in people who are in their 20’s or 30’s. The disease becomes less common in middle aged people, but becomes more common again in people over the age of 60.

38-year old Hall, who will continue with scheduled treatments, said in his statement that he feels fortunate to have been diagnosed with an imminently treatable and curable disease. He went on to thank all his doctors and nurses, for all their expertise and care.
And it appears that Hall, who is a double Golden Globe nominee, is not going to let anything stop him from attending the award show on Sunday. He will be going with his wife and “Dexter” co-star Jennifer Carpenter, who plays his adopted sister Debs on the show.
