Legendary actor and filmmaker Dennis Hopper, who has starred in some great films in his time including “Rebel without a Cause” and of course the 1994 hit movie “Speed,” has apparently filed for a divorce from his wife Victoria after nearly 14 years of marriage.
According to a recent report over at digitalspy.co.uk, 73-year old Dennis, who only recently announced that his cancer has now become terminal, claims “irreconcilable differences” to be the cause of his marital problems.

The actor has apparently said that he wants to provide spousal support for his former wife, although the division of property is still to be determined. He and Victoria have one 6-year old daughter together and Dennis is looking at joint legal and physical custody.
Dennis was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in October last year, after being hospitalized with a stomach ailment. It was earlier this month that he announced the cancer as terminal. It seems a shame that he is filing for a divorce at such a time.
