It looks like “American Idol” viewers have been left asking questions over background checks on contestants recently, after a contestant that appeared in the Atlanta auditions this week, was revealed as having a criminal past.
According to nowpublic.com, Skii Bo Ski, whose real name is Antonio Wheeler, appeared at the Atlanta auditions this week, and even got through to the next stage. But shortly after, it was revealed that he has in fact got a criminal record.

22-year old Antonio has an array of different mugshots, and apparently became known back in 2005 when he refused to give a urine sample and a police officer was said to have tasered him while he was strapped to a hospital gurney.
Antonio’s most recent arrest reportedly came on December 31st, for contempt of court. “American Idol” wouldn’t actually comment on the matter. It is not yet known, whether Skii Bo Ski will be allowed to continue on the show or not.
