And as possibly expected, it was James Cameron’s “Avatar” that won the award for Best Motion Picture in the Drama category, while the award for the Best Motion Picture in the Musical or Comedy category went to “The Hangover.”

Despite the fact that he’s only just recovering from cancer, “Dexter” actor Michael C. Hall still attended the awards. And it’s a good job he did, as he won the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Drama Television Series.

The award for Best Director went to James Cameron of course, for his hugely popular “Avatar” movie, while the award for Best Animated film went to “Up” and the award for Best Screenplay for a Motion Picture went to “Up in the Air.”
