According to a recent report over at digitalspy.co.uk, “Tonight Show” host Conan O’Brien showed up at an NBC protest in Los Angeles recently, despite the heavy rain in the area just so he could rally his fans.
Supporters were said to have also staged rallies outside NBC studios in New York and Chicago as well. Fans of O’Brien held up posters showing their support for the presenter, and some even dressed up as “Late Night” characters.

Reports say that it was the Facebook fan group “I’m With Coco,” that organized the protests. O’Brien and NBC are said to be very close on his “Tonight Show” exit, with him reportedly receiving $30 million in a settlement.
Insiders are saying that there is one remaining sticking point to the agreement – intellectual property, which includes the host’s characters such as the Pimpbot 5000, the Masturbating Bear and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.
But a recent report, says that O’Brien will be allowed to take the Triumph Dog with him when he leaves. NBC have apparently said that O’Brien can keep the properties, as long as he concedes to other parts of the deal.
