Michael Jackson’s original collaboration with Lionel Richie, Quincy Jones and Ken Kragen is due to have an all-star makeover to celebrate the songs 25th year anniversary.
According to Digital Spy, they say that Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie are reportedly trying to recruit a lineup to mark the anniversary, which may include stars Usher, John Legend and Natalie Cole. It is thought that Jones and Richie have asked the stars to stay in Los Angeles for one extra night after the 52nd annual Grammy Awards to record and celebrate the single.
The single was once billed the biggest selling single of all time, and to date has sold more than 20 million copies, and raised $63 million for the humanitarian aid in Africa and the US.
All proceeds are to be donated and given to the Haiti earthquake disaster appeal if it goes ahead.
