As many of you will be aware, last night was when the “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon took place and one of the stars that took part in the event, was singer Justin Timberlake. And according to mtv.com, when he was asked to perform, he didn’t hesitate to say yes.
And it appears that he already had a song in mind that he was going to perform. Justin says that when he got the call, it was like a big highlighted neon-green light everywhere he looked “Hallelujah, Hallelujah.” And that was exactly what he sung.

But he wasn’t exactly alone in his performance. Justin teamed up with his former “Mickey Mouse Club” cast mate Matt Morris, to perform a duet of Leonard Cohen’s popular 1984 track. And I have to admit, they sang the song beautifully together.
Timberlake admitted that “Hallelujah,” has always been one of his favorite songs. He also admitted, that he and his friend Matt always sing the song when they’re messing around in the studio. Justin added that he felt it was kind of fitting for the telethon.
