Gary Coleman Arrested: 4ft 8in star held on $1,725 bail

41-year old former child star Gary Coleman, appears to have got himself arrested recently on a charge of domestic assault. According to a report at dailymail.co.uk, Coleman was booked at his home in Utah, after reports f a civil disturbance.

The 4 foot 8 inch “Diff’rent Strokes” star is currently being held on $1,725 bail, at the Utah County Jail. This is said to be as a result of an outstanding warrant for a prior incident. The recent assault victim has not yet been named.

Ever since the show “Diff’rent Strokes” came to an end in 1986, Coleman has been faced with numerous problems. He was plagued with financial problems and even admitted in 1993, that he had attempted suicide with sleeping pills twice.

This doesn’t appear to be the first time that Coleman has been arrested for assault either. Back in 1998, Gary received a suspended sentence for assault after he punched a female fan during a heated argument over an autograph.
