As we mentioned in an earlier post, it was recently revealed that actor Rob Lowe will be leaving the popular ABC drama series “Brothers & Sisters,” in which he plays the character of Senator Robert McCallister and husband to Kitty.
And according to a report on Press Association, Lowe’s publicist has confirmed the news and has said that the actor will be leaving the show at the end of the current season. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see how his character exits the show.

Rob has appeared in the drama series for four seasons now, and some fans may be sad to see him go. But it appears that he won’t be disappearing off our screens completely, as it’s been reported that he is in talks with ABC, to get his own series.
This is not the first time 45-year old Lowe has left a role where he is part of an ensemble either. Back in 2003, Rob left “The West Wing” to star in the legal drama “The Lyon’s Den,” which was then cancelled after only six episodes had aired.
