American actress and comedian Jane Lynch, who has starred in TV shows such as “The L Word” and “Party Down” and movies such as “Julie and Julia” and “Role Models,” has recently revealed that there are similarities between her and her “Glee” character.
According to digitalspy.co.uk, the actress, who plays P.E. teacher Sue Sylvester in the musical comedy series, says that her alter ego’s characteristics are not far from the surface in herself. She also says that she couldn’t do “Glee” if she didn’t see herself in it.

49-year old Jane says that the mean, humiliating, cruel, shaming, heinous characteristics that Sue Sylvester embodies aren’t what she leads with in life, but she admits that they are there. And according to her, she thinks they’re not that far from the surface.
The series “Glee” returns to TV on April 13th on Fox in the US, while it continues on Mondays at 9PM on E4 in the UK. What do you think of “Glee?”
