Hollywood actor John Travolta has decided to follow in the footsteps of many other celebrities, and help out in the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake. But he hasn’t done it by donating money, or by helping at the telethon.
According to usatoday.com, 55-year old John helped out by flying his own jet to Haiti, which was carrying four tons of relief supplies including ready-to-eat military rations, and a team of people including doctors and Scientology ministers.

Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston was also said to be on the plane. Reports say that Travolta, who has starred in movies such as “Grease,” “Face Off,” “Hairspray” and “Old Dogs,” had already sent one plane to Haiti last week.
This doesn’t appear to be the first time that the actor has helped out during a natural disaster either. According to a report at news.bbc.co.uk, John helped out the victims of Hurricane Katrina back in 2005, by flying out five tonnes of food.
