James Cameron’s 3D “Avatar” movie has proved to be a huge success for Fox and now, it appears that Warner Bros. want some of that action for themselves. Warner Bros. are now expected to announce that they will be releasing the final two “Harry Potter” movies in 3D.
According to a blog on THR’s Heat Vision, the Warner Bros. studio has been successfully testing completed 3D footage of “Clash of the Titans.” Executives are said to be so impressed by the results, that they have now green-lit “Harry Potter” for 3D conversion.

According to thehdroom.com, each “Harry Potter” movie, which stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, will cost around $5 million to convert to 3D, plus an additional $5 million for the theater expenses including the special 3D glasses.
Reports are saying that the new “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I” movie is due to open in movie theaters on November 19th. The second part of the movie is said to be arriving the following summer. What do you think about the “Harry Potter” movies in 3D?
