Lady Gaga Set To Open The Grammy Awards & Duet With Elton John

It has widely been reported that Lady Gaga and Elton John will perform a “memorable” performance when they take to the stage at this years 52nd annual Grammy Awards, which takes place at the Los Angeles Staples Center on January 31.

There are no details regarding the duet as of yet, and Sir Elton John also rejected the offer to spill the beans while at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah this week. It is noted that Sir Elton John also performed with Eminem at the Grammy Awards back in 2001.

Contactmusic spoke to a source that said “Elton and Lady Gaga on the same stage is sure to create fireworks, it could be one of the most memorable Grammy performances of all time.”

Other acts scheduled to perform at the Grammys are the Black Eyed Peas, Pink, Beyoncé, and Taylor Swift. Beyoncé is ahead of the rest of the pack, as she has ten nods, with Taylor Swift on eight and Black Eyed Peas with six.
