Robinho Seals Loan Move To Santos

Manchester City have revealed that they have agreed a deal with Brazilian football team Santos, to loan former Real Madrid striker Robinho from Eastlands, for a six month period.

Robinho started his Manchester City career off in style, but this season he has received a fair amount of criticism, for his lackadaisical performances where it just did not seem like he wanted to play for the blue side of Manchester.

He scored his only goal in a FA Cup victory at Scunthorpe, but prior to this, reports were suggesting that the Brazil international was hoping for a move back to his homeland, as he was not getting enough first team opportunity in a World Cup year under Roberto Mancini.

It is thought that Santos will be paying all of the players contract terms and wages that he currently holds with Manchester City, and will travel back to Brazil on Sunday.
