As we mentioned in a previous post, “Avatar” and “Titanic” director James Cameron admitted to MTV news recently that even before he released the original “Avatar” movie, he already had plans in his mind for a potential sequel.
What we did know originally, was that the sequel would of course pick up where the first movie finished. And in the previous post, we mentioned that Sam Worthington, who plays Jake Sully, had signed up for the second movie.

And according to mtv.com, it appears that following the film’s record-breaking box office haul, Cameron has been sharing his sequel ideas with the cast of “Avatar.” And Joel David Moore, who plays Norm Spellman, said he loves Cameron’s ideas.
At the end of “Avatar,” Spellman was allowed to stay on Pandora. And now we know that James Cameron expects to have Joel David Moore in the sequel. But what his role on Pandora will be in the second movie, is still a mystery.
