Grammy Awards 2010: Nominations Recap

As we just mentioned, the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards are taking place in Los Angeles tonight and stars from all across the music industry, will be gathering at the Staples Center, to either receive an award or celebrate those who do receive them.

And just in case you don’t know or can’t remember who is included in the nominees list, we are going to give you a quick update. The full list of nominees can be found over at grammy.com, but we thought we’d give you an idea of just a few.

The nominees for this year’s Record of the Year award includes Beyonce for “Halo,” the Black Eyed Peas for “I Gotta Feeling,” Kings of Leon for “Use Somebody,” Lady Gaga for “Poker Face,” and Taylor Swift for “You Belong With Me.”

Beyonce is also among the list of nominees for the Album of the Year award, for “I Am… Sasha Fierce.” She is joined by the Black Eyed Peas for “The E.N.D.,” Lady Gaga for “The Fame,” Taylor Swift for “Fearless” and Dave Matthews Band.

Among the nominees for Best New Artist award are Zac Brown Band, The Ting Tings, MGMT, Silversun Pickups and Keri Hilson. Nominees for Best Dance Recording include Lady Gaga for “Poker Face,” and Britney Spears for “Womanizer.”
